Day 2 - June 3 - Klamath Falls
Day trip to Crater Lake. Took a few photos, looked around, but couldn't do any hiking because of the snow. We could have walked through the snow, but it wouldn't have been pretty afterwards, with wet shoes, socks, and pants!
The views were fantastic, as the photos indicate. (Well, it seems that there are some technical difficulties in uploading photos. Will continue to try. At least one is available - the rest are on Facebook.)
After a brief recalibration (i.e. "nap"), I went to the local golf course and did a real fast, whirlwind round in about two hours. No one in front of me, and no one behind me! Two groups allowed me to play through, fortunately. Couldn't have had a better day. Well, I take that back! Many days yet to come on this journey!
